Around Prague is an independent media outlet about Prague and Czechia for the people who live here and those who come to visit — expats, tourists and anyone who needs to find their way around Czech life. We publish in three languages — Russian, English and Ukrainian — and cover the news, events, places and people of Czechia every day, along with practical guides and a services directory.
Our goal is to help readers navigate life in Czechia with confidence — from the first days after moving here to the everyday details everyone runs into.
The project was founded in 2016. Editor-in-chief and publisher: Maksym Akimov. The editorial team is responsible for choosing topics, producing the guides and directory, and for editorial oversight of published material.
