The oldest maternity hospital in the country (delivering babies since 1875) and a super-consultation perinatal center handling the most severe pregnancy complications from across Czechia. A maternity hospital based at the largest hospital in Czechia, part of a perinatal center offering a full range of specialized care for both children and adults under one roof — invaluable in case of complications for mother or baby. In 2019, this hospital opened the first Midwife-Led Birth Center in Czechia (Centrum porodní asistence) — deliveries are led by a midwife with a doctor on standby nearby.
