A round-the-clock nationwide telephone service for acute poisoning in humans and animals (medications, household chemicals, mushrooms, plants, bites). Consultations are provided by toxicologist physicians — for both members of the public and healthcare professionals. Consultations are by phone only; patients are not seen in person.

Single emergency line for gas leaks or a smell of gas, faulty gas appliances and explosion risk. Dial 1239 without a prefix, like other emergency numbers.
