Benátská! s Impulsem Festival in Liberec Breaks Attendance Record, Tickets for 2027 Already on Sale

The Benátská! s Impulsem music festival, held at the Ještěd–Vesec complex in Liberec, has set an all-time attendance record, organisers report. The first performers for next year's edition have already been announced, and tickets for 2027 are now on sale.

One of the most touching moments of this year's festival was the performance by the legendary band Lucie. "In 1990 we were there at the very beginning of this festival, back when Benátská was still held on the banks of the Jizera river and the stage was built out of scaffolding. Since then, both we and the festival have come a long way. The audience was incredible," the musicians recalled.

Viktor Dyk summed up this year's performance at Benátská! with the title of one of the band's most popular hits: "The Best Thing I Know." Robert Kodym added with a smile: "We're charged up like alkaline batteries."

Foreign artists also praised the festival's organisation. "Great job! It was wonderful to see you all again. Please pass on our huge thanks to the whole festival team. We all had a fantastic time," said Roxette representative Bo Johansson.

Beyond the music programme, the festival will also be remembered for its lively off-stage moments. David Koller's arrival by helicopter drew plenty of attention — the musician was accompanied by British producer Steven Lyon, who is working on his new album.

Among the festival guests, actor Martin Dejdar was spotted dressed as the legendary Ozzak, happily posing for photos with visitors, signing autographs and hosting one of the most cheerful autograph sessions of the whole festival.

Special interest was drawn to the entertainment zone on Kopeček, packed with activities — a giant slide, paintball, family attractions and adrenaline-fuelled fun, along with contests for visitors of all ages. Radio Impuls's mobile studio held interviews in unconventional settings, alongside live performances by David Koller, the band No Name and Michal Hrůza.

"We're delighted that this season will go down in history not just for record attendance, but above all for the wonderful atmosphere. Thank you to all our guests, partners, artists, volunteers and the entire organising team. It's thanks to them that Benátská! s Impulsem gets better every year," the festival organisers said.

Preparations are already underway for the 33rd edition of the festival, which will once again take place next summer at the Vesec complex in Liberec. During this year's event, the first confirmed performers for 2027 were announced, and tickets are already available on the festival's official website. Alongside the music programme, guests can look forward to a fair-style market, a family zone, and space for camping and caravans.
