Police in the Brno region have once again stopped a 29-year-old driver who is banned from driving. According to South Moravian police, this is already his 14th violation of the ban. The man will most likely end up in court.
South Moravian police spokeswoman Andrea Cejnková said the driver refused a drug test and did not present a driving licence for inspection. In addition, the car had no compulsory insurance and no valid technical inspection.
Police officers in Rosice will continue to handle the case. It is already clear that, besides administrative offences, the man will have to answer for a criminal offence: obstructing the execution of an official decision. In the worst case, it carries up to five years in prison.
