In the Moravian-Silesian town of Krnov, a man attacked two boys on Liberation Square. The attack took place shortly after 1:30 p.m. The children filmed it on video, and police are now establishing the circumstances.
It all began with an argument between a 13-year-old boy and the man. He hit the boy, who was sitting on a bicycle, so hard that both fell onto the grass. The boy's friend tried to help, but the attacker lunged at him too.
The video was published by the Facebook profile NEoficiální Krnov. According to a parent of one of the teenagers, police have already received all the recordings. The incident happened not far from the primary school and the Greek monument, where a large group of children were sitting on benches. According to one version of events, the children were probably smoking, which the passing man did not like: he reprimanded them, started arguing with the boy, insulted him verbally, and then attacked. Afterwards the child complained of pain in his leg, and his mother took him to hospital.
Krnov police are working to establish exactly what happened. Police spokeswoman Nikol Bočková has so far only confirmed a verbal and physical conflict between three people. “We are currently dealing with the case and establishing all the circumstances that preceded the incident,” she said. Police have not confirmed the boy's injuries.
