In South Moravia, in the Blansko district, police are investigating a fight between children that took place outside the walls of a local school. One of those involved, a girl, was injured, and paramedics took her to hospital for examination.
Law enforcement reported the incident on Tuesday. According to police spokesman Petr Vala, investigators have video footage of the incident, which is now being analysed, and the identities of everyone present have already been established. Police are determining all the circumstances of the case, including what preceded the attack itself.
Paramedics were called to the scene. As rescue service spokeswoman Michaela Botová explained, a medical crew and a rescue team were sent out: after examination, one of the girls was taken to hospital in the town of Boskovice to rule out more serious injuries.
Police are now keeping close contact with the local school, which some of those involved in the conflict attend — a police prevention officer is also cooperating with the school's director. “Given the age of those involved and the need to protect minors, we will not be providing further information for now. The investigation into the incident is continuing,” added the police spokesman.
