Prague detectives are asking the public for help in finding 48-year-old Ondřej P. from the Tyršova district. He was last seen on Sunday, October 25, in the afternoon at his home on Barunčina Street.
“He hasn't come home since,” police spokesman Richard Hrdina said on Tuesday, October 27. According to him, the family last spoke to him by phone at around ten in the evening, when Ondřej said he was in central Prague with friends.
The missing man suffers from a serious mental disorder and has gone two days without his very strong medication, which was prescribed for his condition. As Hrdina stresses, there is therefore a justified concern for his health and life. He should not be dangerous to others: he is a person of a gentle, very trusting nature.
He left home in camouflage trousers and a dark hooded sweatshirt jacket, carrying his apartment keys on a conspicuously massive chain.
Police also have some worrying information. When the family tried to reach the man again on Monday, a stranger answered the call. He said he had found the mobile phone and would take it to a police station. Since then, the phone has gone missing just like its owner.
“If you have seen this man or have any information that could help find him, please call 158 immediately,” the officer asks.
