Café Kafara in Brno, Czechia: former rectory vibe, craft brunches

Café Kafara in Brno is housed in a former rectory

In Brno, in a former rectory — the house of a Catholic priest — you'll find café Kafara, a place with an unusual history and a special charm. In summer, guests are welcomed by a cozy terrace, and in winter by a warm interior with a kids' corner for parents with children.

The café serves select coffee from the Jizba roastery in Luhačovice, coffee drinks and soft drinks, as well as homemade lemonades. For evening get-togethers, it offers wines from the Bukovský winery and beer from small craft breweries, such as Louka.

It's worth trying the homemade desserts made in-house, and in summer, craft ice cream from the Minach chocolate factory, while from the savory menu, Sunday brunches are especially popular.
