A car collided with a train at a railway crossing near Kladno, after which the unidentified driver fled the scene. Czech police confirmed that no one aboard the train was injured, and a breathalyzer test showed the train driver had not been drinking.
According to police, the search for the driver and their vehicle is ongoing, and investigators are working to establish further details of the crash. A piece of the car's bumper bearing a Ukrainian license plate was found at the scene, which could help identify the person responsible.
Traffic on the section was completely shut down following the crash. The train braked sharply upon impact, prompting emergency responders to be called to the scene to check on all passengers. According to Marek Hilebrant, a spokesperson for the Central Bohemian Emergency Medical Service, none of the passengers required medical assistance.
