Firefighters in the town of Duchcov, in the Teplice district of the Ústí nad Labem Region, were called out to rescue an animal stranded high above the ground. According to the fire service, a kitten climbed too high up a tree on Bratří Čapků Street and was unable to get back down on its own.

The crew that arrived on the scene carefully brought the kitten down from the treetop and returned it safe and sound to its owners. Call-outs like this are a routine part of the job for Czech firefighters, who regularly come to the rescue not only of people but of pets as well.
