Prague: Driver dies after overtaking manoeuvre sends car into tram and motorbike

A triple collision involving a car, a tram and a motorcycle occurred in Prague 8 on Zenklova Street, near its junction with Pod Vlachovkou Street. The car's driver died at the scene, while the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, police reported via social media platform X.

According to witnesses, the driver attempted to overtake and, during the manoeuvre, collided head-on with an oncoming tram before also hitting the motorcycle. The impact sent the car flying onto the pavement, while the tram was derailed.

Paramedics took the injured motorcyclist to hospital. Police warned that the street would be closed in both directions for several hours and asked drivers to seek alternative routes around the scene.
