Finance Minister Schillerová visits SAPA market in Libuš and promises to return

Czech Finance Minister Alena Schillerová visited the well-known SAPA market in Prague’s Libuš district and promised to come back. The visit was part of a “roadshow” on which the minister is promoting the upcoming EET electronic sales registration system.

After a conference on EET, Schillerová toured the center of the Vietnamese community in Czechia and, according to reports, made no secret of her enthusiasm. The grocery stores, textile stalls and restaurants interested her so much that she said several times she would definitely return.

As a reminder, the full launch of the new EET has been approved for Jan. 1, 2027.
