Search underway for two people caught in severe storm at Lake Most in Czechia

Search efforts are continuing at Lake Most in Czechia for two people who were caught in a severe thunderstorm. This was reported by regional police spokeswoman Veronika Hisplerová.

"An intensive search for the two missing people is currently underway. The lake shores and surrounding area are being searched," she said.

Units of the integrated rescue system, including the Czech police river unit, are working at the scene. According to the police representative, rescuers are making every effort to locate the missing individuals.

Police have not yet disclosed further details, out of respect for the families of the missing and due to the ongoing rescue operation. As Hisplerová noted, the public will be updated on developments as soon as circumstances allow.
