Silent man with no ID found near ambulance station in Krkonoše

Police in the Krkonoše Mountains are trying to establish the identity of an unknown man who was found lying near an ambulance station in the evening. The call came in shortly before 8 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Šárka Pižlová.

According to the person who reported him, the man refuses to communicate at all — something that had already been noticed over the weekend, when he was seen sitting at a bus stop. He did not react when asked to show identification and produced no documents, remaining largely unresponsive to everything around him.

The man is wearing light-blue denim shorts and a brown T-shirt. Because of his condition, paramedics took him to hospital, where doctors ruled out the presence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances in his system.

Police are now asking the public for help identifying the man. They have not ruled out the possibility that he may be a foreigner.

“If you know this man, know where he goes or works, or have any other information that could help identify him, please call 158,” said Šárka Pižlová.
