Talk Show "7 pádů Honzy Dedka" Moves to Televize Seznam with New Set Design

Talk Show

The popular Czech talk show 7 pádů Honzy Dedka is switching channels: starting this week, it airs on Televize Seznam. Guests on Monday evening's premiere episode included actresses Daniela Kolářová and Stanislava Jachnická, hockey player Radko Gudas with his daughter Leontinka, and DJ Roxstar.

According to host Honza Dedek, there will be no fundamental changes to the show's format. "We've got a new set, which mostly resembles a living room, and a new opening sequence is also in the works. The number of guests stays the same, and we're not changing the format — including any attempt to make the show younger for a different audience. The goal remains the same: for people to learn something new in an entertaining way," Dedek said.

He also noted that Televize Seznam's management made clear from the start that no one intends to change the show's audience or style. "The channel's people told us they know exactly who our viewers are and don't want us to make the show younger. Their goal wasn't to change the show, but to keep it exactly as it is," the host added.

Televize Seznam director Ivan Mikula, for his part, said the channel is genuinely pleased about the new partnership. According to him, the talk show 7 pádů Honzy Dedka will be part of the channel's new autumn lineup.

Previously, the show had aired on Prima since 2020 — its last broadcast there ran on June 9, 2026, after which it moved to paid online platforms. There it will keep going: viewers will have access to the full version of every episode, filmed at Prague's Metro Theatre.
