In the Chomutov region of Czechia, a car crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a bus. All three occupants of the car died in the crash, according to Patrik Kristián Cmorej, spokesperson for the Ústí nad Labem region's emergency medical service.

Police say the accident occurred at around 6 p.m. on Road No. 224 between the villages of Pětipsy and Rokle. “The car crossed into the opposite lane, where it collided with a bus that had no one on board apart from the driver,” said police spokeswoman Miroslava Hloogovská. The circumstances and cause of the tragedy have not yet been established, and an investigation is still underway at the scene.

According to Lukáš Fajak, spokesman for the regional fire brigade, the bus was travelling without passengers at the time of the collision, and the driver suffered only minor abrasions.
