Russian diplomat Zhdanova has called Czechia a de facto party to the conflict in Ukraine. According to the TASS agency, she said Czechia, together with Denmark, the Netherlands and Italy, is among the “accomplices” supplying drones to Ukraine’s armed forces.
Zhdanova first named firms in Britain and Poland where, she said, the drones Ukraine used in an attack on the Petersburg region and the southern Russian city of Gelendzhik were made. “Among the other accomplices who provide the Ukrainian armed forces with drones to kill our people are Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy and Czechia, which is also de facto taking part in the Ukrainian conflict,” TASS quotes her as saying.
The diplomat added that Russia’s Ministry of Defence has published the production sites in these countries. Moscow, she said, will continue to focus on these states.
Ukraine is now in its fifth year of repelling Russia’s full-scale invasion. Both sides frequently use aerial strikes in the fighting, with drones and missiles of many different types.
