Czech fintech startup Flowpay named fastest-growing company in the Sifted 100

Czech fintech startup Flowpay, founded by entrepreneur William Jallul, has topped the Sifted 100 ranking as the fastest-growing company among a hundred tech firms from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central and Eastern Europe. Over the past two years, the company's revenue has grown by an average of 816.31% a year.

Flowpay specialises in financing small and medium-sized businesses. What sets the company apart is its use of data from tools entrepreneurs already use — cash registers, online stores, accounting software. That lets Flowpay assess far more quickly whether a company should be granted a loan.

According to the company, entrepreneurs no longer need to wait weeks for a classic loan application review: they can apply directly through the platforms they already use, and a decision comes back within minutes.

“Small and medium-sized companies often don't have a problem with the business itself — the problem is how quickly and objectively they can access capital to grow. We build this process on data from their own operations, so we can assess risk and potential within minutes and send the money exactly when the company needs it — for example, before a seasonal stock purchase,” says Flowpay founder William Jallul.

“We see our place in the Sifted 100 as confirmation that this approach makes huge sense for scaling, not just in Europe,” he adds.

The Sifted 100 only includes independent companies that earn most of their revenue from their own technology and posted turnover above five hundred thousand euros in the last reporting year. Jallul founded Flowpay in 2021, and today the company operates, among other places, in Czechia, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
