Prague to Launch CZK 29 Million Tender for Courtyard Renovation at Kampus Hybernská

Prague City Hall is set to launch a tender for the reconstruction of the courtyard at the Kampus Hybernská cultural complex, aiming to improve rainwater management and the microclimate on the site. The project is valued at CZK 29 million excluding VAT, and city councillors have already approved the decision to proceed with the public procurement.

According to city planning councillor Adam Zábranský (Pirates party), Kampus Hybernská is a "living place" used daily by hundreds of people. Thanks to the investment, the courtyard is in for a major transformation: it will gain a higher-quality public space, more greenery, and improved rainwater management. Beyond upgrading the utility networks, the area will become more comfortable and "green," benefiting the operation of the whole complex.

The project includes building a reservoir to collect and store rainwater, reconstructing the sewer connection and storm drainage system, and partially renewing the sewage network. The courtyard will also feature a green wall and raised planters for trees, while workers will resurface the area.
