Manchester City visit Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Nov. 7, looking to end a two-game losing run in the Premier League. Kickoff at the City Ground is 5:30 p.m. GMT, which is 12:30 p.m. ET and 9:30 a.m. PT.
Defeats to Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion cost City the top spot, and defending champions Arsenal moved ahead, according to Sports Illustrated. Forest sit near the bottom of the table, and CNET reported that coach Oliver Glasner is under growing pressure.
City lost 1-0 to Brighton last weekend, then won 3-2 away at RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday. Goal.com reported that Haaland scored the winner in the 78th minute. Sports Illustrated said the win showed the disorder around City lately, with defensive lapses covered by the attack.
Forest lost 2-0 at Brentford last weekend. According to CNET, Glasner publicly cast doubt on his future afterward. Goal.com reported that he told his squad to buy in or leave, but that the club is sticking with him for now.
Reports differ on Forest's home record. Sports Illustrated says they have one point from their home league games and have not scored in any of four. Goal.com says they have played three home league games this season without a win. Both agree that Forest have not scored at the City Ground in the league this season.
Sports Illustrated reported that Igor Jesus is back in training after a calf injury and should be involved in some capacity. Nicolo Savona is also training again after 10 months out, but Glasner has all but ruled him out for this game. Nicolas Dominguez has had a recurrence of a muscle injury and will miss up to eight weeks.
For City, Antoine Semenyo remains out with a knee injury and is likely to be sidelined until December at the earliest, according to Sports Illustrated. Former City academy players James McAtee and Liam Delap are expected to start for Forest. Elliot Anderson, who left Forest over the summer, is expected to start for City.
Haaland's record against Forest is described differently. Sports Illustrated says he has five goals in eight appearances against them but none in the last four meetings. Goal.com says he has gone five meetings without scoring.
In the U.S., CNET reported that the match will be shown on NBCSN and streamed on Peacock. Streaming requires Peacock Premium at $13 a month or Premium Plus at $20 a month.
In the U.K., the game is exclusive to Sky Sports. CNET said it will be on the Main Event and Premier League channels. Non-subscribers can stream through Now, which offers a day pass for £15 or monthly plans from £39.
In Canada, Fubo holds the exclusive rights. In Australia, Stan Sport has them, and the match starts at 4:30 a.m. AEDT on Sunday.
Both previews lean toward City. Sports Illustrated forecasts a 2-1 City win, and Goal.com forecasts 2-0. Those are the outlets' own predictions, not results. A City win would keep the pressure on Arsenal. A Forest defeat could bring Glasner closer to the exit, according to CNET. The match is the last for both sides before the November international break, according to Sports Illustrated.
