Livesport revenue hits record 3.2 billion CZK in Czech sports tech

Martin Hájek and Livesport: turnover of the Czech sports results empire grows to 3.2 billion crowns

The Czech technology and media company Livesport, owned by Martin Hájek and Jiří Mareš, ended 2025 with record figures: turnover rose to 3.21 billion crowns from 2.67 billion a year earlier. The growth came in a year without a football World Cup or European Championship.

Operating profit jumped from 841 million to 1.12 billion crowns, and net profit from 1.70 to 2.24 billion crowns. For a business that depends on the sports calendar, this is a strong result: in an “empty” year, the audience did not shrink but grew.

The main measure of success is traffic to the global results network Flashscore (known in Czechia as Livesport.cz). In October 2025, its monthly audience exceeded 125 million users. Including the Spanish portal BeSoccer, which Livesport bought at the end of 2024, the combined reach of its websites and apps hit 155.9 million people.

The company does not stop at match results and is developing sports news. It has been building this content on a global level since 2022, and in 2025 its articles drew more than 1.35 billion views. The company passed the mark of 100 million views a month ten times during the year.

Live audio commentary on matches also grew significantly: more than 107 million unique listens over the year, more than double the previous year. The Champions League football semi-final between Inter and Barcelona drew record interest.

Another focus is tools for fans that show the game in greater depth. One of the key projects is the new player rating Livesport Rating, developed with the participation of former goalkeeper Petr Čech.

According to the company, the year’s results confirm that user interest is not tied only to the biggest football tournaments. Traffic in various countries was also supported by major events in other sports.

Livesport has been developing sports websites and apps since 2006. Today its platform provides results, statistics and news for more than 35 sports.
