Zličín is the western end of Prague and the terminus of metro line B. The Metropole Zličín shopping centre stands right next to the station, IKEA Zličín is about half a kilometre away, bus 100 reaches Václav Havel Airport Terminal 1 in about 14 minutes, and two Park and Ride car parks charge CZK 50 for the first 24 hours. The metro from Můstek in the city centre takes 21–22 minutes. Around Prague checked timetables, opening hours and prices against PID, parking.praha.eu, Metropole and IKEA, and population figures against the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ), on 30 October 2026.

Where is Zličín?

Praha-Zličín is a small municipal district on Prague's western edge, covering 682 hectares: the old villages of Zličín and Sobín plus the northern part of Třebonice, where the metro station, the bus terminal and the shopping zone are. It borders Prague 17 (Řepy), Prague 13 (Stodůlky) and the towns of Hostivice and Chrášťany, and the D5 motorway from Plzeň runs past it. The highest point in Prague, 399.22 metres above sea level, is in Sobín. According to ČSÚ, 9,101 people lived in the district on 1 January 2026 and 9,160 on 30 June 2026 (preliminary figure).

Getting there by metro and bus

Zličín is the last stop on metro line B (yellow). Under the PID timetable valid from 29 August 2026, trains take about 17 minutes to Anděl, 20 minutes to Národní třída and 21–22 minutes to Můstek, the stop for Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. At weekday peaks a train leaves every 2–3 minutes, late in the evening every 10 minutes.

The Zličín bus terminal is next to the station. PID's open data list city buses 100 (airport), 130, 180, 246 and 249, regional lines in the 300 and 400 series to towns such as Hostivice, Unhošť, Rudná, Řevnice and Rakovník, and night buses 904, 952 and 957. A separate railway stop, Praha-Zličín, on suburban line S65 is in the northern part of the district.

Bus 100 to Prague airport

Bus 100 runs from Zličín to Václav Havel Airport via K Letišti, Terminal 3 and U Hangáru. The PID timetable gives 14 minutes to Terminal 1 and about 18 minutes back; Prague Airport's own site also says about 18 minutes. Buses leave every 15 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes in the evening, from 5:20 to 23:40. Line 100 does not run at night.

A standard 90-minute PID ticket covers the bus and your metro ride into town: CZK 50, or CZK 46 in the PID Lítačka app. Luggage up to 25×45×70 cm travels free; larger items need a CZK 20 luggage ticket.

Metropole Zličín: opening hours and parking

Metropole Zličín, at Řevnická 1, is a shopping centre right next to the metro station, owned by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. Shops are open daily from 9:00 to 21:00; the Albert supermarket, restaurants and cafés from 8:00 to 22:00. Inside are a Cinema City multiplex, a Form Factory gym and stores such as Primark, H&M, Peek & Cloppenburg and Datart.

The car park is open from 6:30 to 23:00. The first two hours are free every day; after that each started hour costs CZK 60, up to CZK 1,000 per 24 hours, and the maximum stay is 48 hours. Loyalty-club members, cinema-goers and gym customers can extend their free time. By car, take the D5 exit for the Zličín shopping zone; a new entrance and exit also link the car park with the Rozvadovská spojka road.

IKEA Zličín and the retail park

IKEA Zličín is at Skandinávská 131/1. The store is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00, the restaurant and café from 9:30 to 19:30. IKEA is closed on 24, 25 and 26 December 2026 and on 1 January 2027, and open from 10:00 to 16:00 on 31 December.

The store is roughly half a kilometre in a straight line from the nearest metro exit; the closest bus stop is Obchodní centrum Zličín, served by bus 180 from the metro. Many people still call the retail zone around IKEA "Avion Shopping Park", but we found no current official website with opening hours for the park as a whole, so check individual stores directly.

Park and Ride: leave the car at Zličín

Two guarded P+R car parks run by the city's road agency TSK sit by the metro: Zličín 1 on Řevnická (88 spaces) and Zličín 2 on Ringhofferova (66 spaces). Both are open 24/7. Under the TSK price list the first 24 counted hours cost CZK 50 and each further started hour CZK 10; weekends, public holidays and the Christmas holidays are not counted. Pay by card or cash at the machine. You cannot reserve a space, but parking.praha.eu shows free spaces in real time. P+R is priced for day use: over several weekdays, for example while you fly away on holiday, the hourly charges add up quickly. Parking in the centre itself is covered in our guide to Prague parking zones.
