The project for a wind power plant near the village of Rogozná in the Svitavy district has received a positive opinion. The plant is planned to the east of the village, by the road towards Lavičné, behind the Na drahách hill.
The turbine will be almost 200 metres tall, but most of the village will not be able to see it. The nearest house is more than a kilometre away. The investor expects an installed capacity of 4.26 megawatts.
The investor’s representative, Hakl, noted that conditions will become even better: an amendment to the law has been in force since 1 August, so the original agreement was updated to reflect the new terms.
Other investors also want to build wind power plants in the Svitavy and Orlickoústecko districts. Construction of the wind farm near Anenské Studánky is about to begin, while the fate of other projects will be decided by residents in referendums in four municipalities during the municipal elections.
