Country star Garth Brooks will return to Ireland in 2027 for ten stadium concerts in five cities, starting with two nights in Belfast on May 21 and 22. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, through Ticketmaster.ie, according to XS Noize, the Irish Mirror and The Irish News.
The Irish Tour 2027 will also stop in Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork. It will be Brooks' first Irish appearance since September 2022, when he played five sold-out concerts at Dublin's Croke Park, The Irish News reported.
Each city gets two nights, according to the tour listings in all three outlets:
The Irish News identified the Belfast venue as Boucher Road Playing Fields. The Irish Mirror said the shows fall on Fridays and Saturdays, apart from the Galway dates, which are a Saturday and a Sunday.
The Irish Mirror quoted Brooks as saying the tour has been a dream of his since he first played Ireland. He added that after experiencing how the Irish love music, “you can't play there enough.”
The Irish Mirror said Brooks' five Croke Park concerts in 2022 drew more than 400,000 fans. It described the run as record-breaking. The outlet noted that those shows followed the controversy surrounding his planned concerts at the same Dublin venue in 2014. None of the three outlets gave further detail on that dispute.
The outlets cited the same career milestones for the singer:
XS Noize also listed 17 American Music Awards and 12 People's Choice Awards. The Irish News added that he received the Kennedy Center Honors and the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
For fans in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and for travelers planning a trip, the announcement sets a fixed schedule: ten concerts over four weekends, from late May to mid-June 2027. Because the tour spans five cities, the shows are spread across different parts of the island, with Belfast opening the run and Cork closing it.
All ticket sales run through a single outlet, Ticketmaster.ie, and open at the same time, 8 a.m. on Nov. 12. The sources did not disclose ticket prices or any presale arrangements.
The next step is the on-sale date. Tickets for all five cities become available on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 8 a.m. The tour then begins in Belfast on May 21, 2027.
