Unidentified Drones Spotted Flying Over Secret Bundeswehr Bunker at Night

A secret underground bunker belonging to the German army, spanning some 30,000 square metres and located roughly 130 metres below ground, had six drone flyovers recorded on Thursday night and into Friday morning, German outlet Der Bild reports.

The first drone sightings over the military site began around 10pm on Thursday, while the final flyover was recorded by police officers who had already arrived at the scene.

Two different drones over the secret site

According to available information, at least two different drones flew over the military bunker's grounds — one noticeably larger than the other. Military police initially suspected it could have been the giant Fly-380 VTOL drone, an aircraft with a wingspan of around four metres capable of flying up to 400 kilometres while carrying a payload of up to ten kilograms.

Germany does not rule out foreign intelligence involvement

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said the drone flights over the army bunker were carried out by highly professional operators. According to him, investigators have not ruled out the possibility that foreign states were behind the night-time incident.
