Luggage Storage in Prague 2026: Stations, Airport and Prices

The lowest published station price for luggage storage in Prague is CZK 80 per bag per calendar day at Florenc bus station, 6:00–23:00. At Prague Main Station, plan on self-service lockers, because the railway's own pages no longer list a staffed left-luggage office. Masarykovo has a staffed office until 17:50 and lockers until 23:50. At the airport, left luggage is in Terminal 2 only, from CZK 150 per 24 hours. Around Prague checked operators' websites on 2 November 2026; we did not test the counters in person. EUR 1 was CZK 24.35 that day.

Prague Main Station (Praha hl.n.)
Lockers are the option to count on. České dráhy (ČD) lists "self-service storage lockers" for the station, and rail infrastructure manager Správa železnic lists "boxes/lockers". Lockers maker CUBESAVE says its Travel Box lockers are installed here. None of them publishes prices or sizes for this station online, and ČD says price lists are posted at each station, so read the price on the terminal before you pay. Passenger areas close from 1:30 to 2:30 every night.
The staffed office appears to be gone. Many guides and booking sites still quote a staffed left-luggage office open 6:00–23:00. Here is what we could establish:
- A notice at the office said it would close on 31 July 2026 for renovation and new lifts, according to a Czech article from June and a public petition.
- Archived copies of the ČD station page still show the office, 6:00–23:00, on 10 August. By 19 September it had gone from the list.
- On 2 November neither ČD nor Správa železnic listed it, and the office's page on prague.eu returned a 404 error.
- The PID transport site still shows "Luggage Storage 06:00–23:00". No operator has published an announcement that we could find.
So do not build a plan around it. If you have a bike, skis or a very large case, use Voršilská 6, Florenc or the airport instead.
Masarykovo station
Masarykovo (Masarykovo nádraží, Havlíčkova 2) is the small station near Náměstí Republiky.
- Staffed office: ČD lists it daily 6:30–12:00 and 12:30–17:50. Prices are not online. ČD's general rules: pay in advance, keep the receipt, 40 days at most, and staff may ask you to help lift bags over 15 kg.
- Lockers: Luggage Storage Prague has lockers inside the station, daily 4:00–23:50, card only. You pay per locker, not per bag. Sizes are 53 × 49 × 60 cm, 53 × 72 × 60 cm and 53 × 82 × 60 cm. Prices start at CZK 75 and the final price appears on the screen. If you are late, the machine asks for more before it opens.
Florenc bus station
This is the clearest price at any Prague station: CZK 80 per bag per calendar day, at the counter in Hall 1, Pod Výtopnou 13/10, daily 6:00–23:00. The address is close to Florenc metro (lines B and C).
- Calendar day means midnight counts. By our reading, a bag left at 22:00 and collected at 9:00 the next morning pays for two days: CZK 160.
- Accepted: closed suitcases and backpacks, and skis in a cover.
- Refused: open or dirty bags, bags worth over CZK 15,000, food, documents, cash, jewellery, electronics, prams, unwrapped bikes, weapons and hazardous items.
- Lockers: sizes S, M and L in the same hall, paid by card or coins. The price list link on the terminal's site was broken on 2 November, so we have no locker prices.
- Hours differ by source: PID shows 6:00–23:30 for Hall 1 and 6:00–22:00 for Hall 2. We use the terminal's own 6:00–23:00.
Prague Airport
The airport's left luggage is in Terminal 2, public area, second floor, in the corner of the departure hall next to the oversize baggage counter. Its rules name only Terminal 2, so if you land at Terminal 1, walk across to Terminal 2.

- Hours: every day 0:00–11:00, 12:00–19:00 and 20:00–23:59.
- Payment: card only.
- Limit: up to 30 days as standard.
- Check: every bag goes through an X-ray or explosives check.
- Not accepted: valuables, cameras, important documents, food, plants, animals, and fragile, dirty or wet items.
- Lost ticket: CZK 2,500 plus the storage fee, so photograph the ticket. The rules accept a photo at pickup.
Our calculation: two regular suitcases for one day cost CZK 500 at the airport and CZK 160 at Florenc. For bag wrapping, Safe Bag works in both terminals, from CZK 350.
Lockers and desks around the centre
- Luggage Storage Prague: Truhlářská 29 (near Náměstí Republiky) and Francouzská 7 (Náměstí Míru) open 24/7; Václavské náměstí 28 opens 8:00–19:00. All are card only. The company also lists a new 24/7 site on Jeruzalémská street, near the Main Station, opening on 5 November, with no house number yet.
- Voršilská 6: a staffed desk near the National Theatre, 9:30–18:00, card or cash. CZK 180 per bag, 120 per handbag, 450 for a bike, skis or other large item. Stays of over 20 days cost CZK 100 a day.
- EasyLocker: Prokopská 625/3 in Malá Strana, 9:00–20:00, 365 days a year. Medium lockers from CZK 59 an hour, large from CZK 89. Card or mobile payment only. Late pickup costs 1.5 times the hourly rate.
Booking apps
These platforms sell space in shops, hotels and cafés. Figures come from their Prague pages on 2 November 2026. They are starting prices: the real price shows at booking.

Check closing time before you book: a shop is not a 24-hour station. Hotels often keep bags on check-out day, so ask yours first (our general advice, not a rule).
