Znojmo (German: Znaim) lies in South Moravia at the Austrian border. From Vienna a direct train from Wien Floridsdorf takes 1 h 25 min, from Brno the bus takes 1 h 15 min, from Prague the RegioJet direct bus takes 3 h 10 min. One day is enough for the Underground, the Town Hall Tower and the old town. The castle and St Catherine's Rotunda are closed after the season ended on 25 October, and so is the tasting stand at the Šobes vineyard. In November the Underground, the tower (Tue–Sun), the museum in the Minorite monastery and the brewing exhibition are open. Around Prague checked hours, prices and timetables on the official sites and in IDOS on 3 November 2026.
