Viewers decide who wins Big Brother 2026 tonight, Thursday, Nov. 5, when the live final crowns one of six remaining housemates and awards a £100,000 cash prize. Voting is already open, according to wheretowatch.tv, and the way it works changes once the show goes on air.
The six finalists are Catrin, Lynx, Rochelle, Samuel, Twinks and Yasmin. They reached the final after a surprise eviction on Nov. 4 removed Frankie Taber and Omar El Mayer just 24 hours before the live show, The Scotsman reported.
The Scotsman said this year's series runs 54 days, the longest since the show moved to ITV. Big Brother first aired on Channel 4 in 2000. The paper noted some Scottish interest this year: Paisley bartender Millie Jarrett was the first housemate to leave.
She was followed over the following weeks by Chelsey, Johanne, Pauline, Rob and Harry, The Scotsman reported. Last week brought a double eviction in which Rhianna and Philip, described by the paper as a former favorite, both left. Then came the late eviction of Frankie and Omar.
For the audience, the final is the one point in the series where their votes directly decide the winner. According to wheretowatch.tv, the rules are as follows:
In practice, that means a viewer's voting power is not used up in one go. Votes can be cast before the show and again each time the lines reopen, while the result stays open until the winner is announced.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will be live to name the winner, wheretowatch.tv said. They will also conduct the first live interviews with the finalists after they leave the house.
The Scotsman published a ranking of the six housemates' chances based on bookmakers' odds. The paper's headline link describes Twinks and Rochelle as neck and neck, though the odds themselves are not reproduced in the text available here. Bookmakers' odds reflect betting activity, not the result of the public vote.
On their final evening in the house, the six shared a meal and then made last visits to the Diary Room, wheretowatch.tv reported. Their reflections were mostly sentimental.
Lynx said the experience would stay with him forever. Samuel thanked Big Brother for choosing a “random old nerd from Slough” to live his dream. Catrin called the show the highlight of her life, joking that being born came first.
Twinks said she came, saw and got nominated, and called the experience magical, adding a reminder that Big Brother was speaking to a witch. Rochelle said she hoped viewers her age would try something different, and said she was very proud of herself. Yasmin said she did not want to leave and described the people she met as amazing.
The live final airs tonight, Nov. 5, and ends with the announcement of the winner, who takes home £100,000. The Scotsman said more surprises were likely during the Bonfire Night broadcast. Once the winner is named, the finalists step back into the outside world and face their first live interviews.
