The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks (Czech Adršpašsko-teplické skály, German Adersbach) are a nature reserve on the Polish border, about 175 km from Prague: roughly 2 h 20 min by car (our routing calculation), 2 h 57 min by FlixBus plus a local train, from 3 h 29 min by train. By car a day trip works; by train it is about 7 hours on the road. The rocks are open all year except 24 December, but in winter only maintained sections are open and the lake boats rest until spring 2027. In November Adršpach costs 180 Kč online (bought a day ahead; 230 Kč at the gate), parking 180 Kč (220 Kč), Teplice 150 Kč online (180 Kč at the gate). Book your entry time and parking online: a full slot cannot be bought at the gate. Around Prague checked prices, hours and rules on the official sites on 2 November 2026, and trains and buses in IDOS.
Two parts of one reserve (protected since 1933): Adršpach and Teplice nad Metují, linked by the Wolf Gorge (Vlčí rokle), 3.5 km on a yellow trail. Adršpach has a 3.5 km circuit, the 81.4 m Lovers tower, a 16 m waterfall and a passage 50 cm wide; Teplice a circuit of about 6 km. Tickets are sold separately for each entrance, but if you walk between the two parts through the gorge, one payment covers both until you leave the trails.
Adršpach has three price seasons; November is in the main one. Prices in Kč. "Online" means bought at least a day ahead: on the day itself the gate price applies.

Teplice parking per day: car 150, motorcycle 100, camper 300. Our calculation: a family of four in November pays 490 + 180 = 670 Kč in Adršpach if booked ahead, 640 + 220 = 860 Kč on the day. Pay in crowns; cards work at the entrance.
Yes, book ahead. The official site says each time slot has limited capacity and a full slot cannot be bought on the spot; parking is limited too, and reserving it is called necessary. The busiest hours are 10:00–14:00, and the site expects crowds around Polish holidays (for example 11 November). You pick a time such as 8:00 and enter within the next hour; after that your time on the trail is unlimited. Cancel up to 7 days before for a 6-month voucher. Teplice has no booking system. Buy only on the official sites: Adršpach, Teplice.

The first 1.3 km in Adršpach, to the Small Waterfall, is flat and works for a pushchair; then come narrow, steep stairs. There is no food on either trail and toilets only at the entrance. Bikes are not allowed, even pushed. The Adršpach site says going round Teplice from Adršpach takes a full day in short autumn days; it gives no total length.
The Rock Lake (Skalní jezírko) is stop 14 on the circuit, above the Great Waterfall. The punt ride takes about 20 minutes: adult 100 Kč, child 3–15 50 Kč, reduced 70 Kč. Tickets are sold only on site at the stairs to the lake, in cash crowns, with no advance booking, and no dogs on board. The 2026 season is over: the site lists a break from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 and promises boats "in spring 2027". No opening date has been announced.

Between Teplice nad Metují and Trutnov, buses replace trains on 2–6 and 9–13 November, 8:30–17:20, with delays of 5–10 minutes. On 2 November IDOS had no timetable after 13 December. Adršpach station is by the entrance (about 100 m), the bus stop 250 m away. From Dresden IDOS showed 6 h 20 min via Prague on 7 November, from Berlin 8 h 15 min or more; by car roughly 280 and 350 km (calculation).
