A traffic accident involving a car and a van occurred on the D1 motorway. According to the fire service, the collision took place at the 130th kilometre of the road in the direction of Brno, in the municipality of Mezříčko in the Žďár nad Sázavou district.

Professional firefighters from the Velké Meziříčí unit were dispatched to the scene. After the crash, rescuers cleared the roadway to restore traffic flow on the motorway.
