An 89-year-old patient named Aklima Chazhibayeva has gone missing from a hospital in Prague's Vinohrady district, Prague police reported on their website. The woman left the medical facility on her own without telling anyone of her plans, prompting serious concerns from police about her health and safety.
According to police, the pensioner is significantly disoriented. Her gait is described as very heavy, slow and unsteady — meaning she could easily fall.
At the time she disappeared, the woman was wearing blue trousers, a blouse, a light jacket and sandals. She wears prescription glasses with black frames. She is carrying a white plastic bag containing toiletries.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the woman from this description, or who has seen her, to call the emergency line 158 immediately.
