On Thursday at around half past eight in the morning, a Tesla Cybertruck collided with a Škoda Superb on the road between Lysice and Žerůtky in the Blansko region, and then crashed into a tractor. According to preliminary police figures, the total damage exceeds CZK 7 million.
The electric pickup was driven by a middle-aged man. As police spokesperson Petr Vala explained, the Tesla driver was overtaking the Škoda Superb in a right-hand bend, at a spot where visibility was probably not good enough for a safe manoeuvre. The vehicles collided and the Superb ended up off the road.
That was not the end of it: the Cybertruck then hit an oncoming tractor with a trailer, also of an American brand, John Deere. Breath tests of all the drivers came back negative.
According to available information, only around twenty Tesla Cybertrucks are driven in Czechia.
