In Prague, on the afternoon of the same day, trams struck pedestrians in two separate locations across the city. Both incidents happened in different districts, and in both cases the victims were girls, who are now in hospital.
At Karlovo náměstí in Prague 2, a tram collided with a five-year-old girl, who suffered a head injury. The second incident took place in Prague 15, where a tram hit a girl under the age of 18, who injured her leg.
According to available information, neither girl's life is in danger, but both were hospitalised for examination and treatment.
