Czech man accused of indecent behaviour in Malta after being seen naked on balcony with daughters

In Malta, a local resident called the police on Tuesday after spotting a naked man on the balcony of a neighbouring house with two children. The woman filmed the scene on her phone, and it later emerged that the children were the man's underage daughters. The man himself is a Czech citizen.

According to local authorities, the Czech man violated child protection laws and committed an indecent act in a public place. He now faces up to several years in prison.

The accused denies any wrongdoing. Prosecutors argue that exposing children to nudity in this way could cause them psychological harm. His defence disagrees, pointing out that in Czechia it is considered normal for parents to appear naked in front of their children and that there is nothing improper about it.
