In the South Moravian Region, firefighters were called out to a blaze at a food stall in the village of Ponětovice, located in the Brno-venkov district. The call came in shortly before 3:30 pm.
Professional firefighters from the central fire station in Židlochovice, as well as units from Brno-Líšeň and Pozořice, responded to the scene. Volunteer fire brigades from Šlapanice and Ponětovice itself were also called in to help bring the fire under control.
In total, five fire units — three professional and two volunteer — took part in extinguishing the blaze.
