Iran Puts $10 Million Bounty on Trump's Son Barron

Iranian media have released a propaganda video titled "Where to Kill Barron Trump?" that shows surveillance footage tracking the movements of the U.S. president's 20-year-old younger son — from Trump Tower to locations linked to his studies. The video ends with an announcement of a $10 million bounty (roughly 207 million koruna) for his assassination.

"The Secret Service is aware of this video and investigates anything that could be construed as a threat to those we protect," said U.S. Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring. The federal agency is responsible for safeguarding the president and his family.

Threats have previously been made against First Lady Melania Trump, but according to CNN, this marks the first time a threat has directly targeted the president's youngest son.

Netanyahu's family also threatened

Iranian threats have also extended to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. On Monday, he said Iran had attempted to kill one of his two sons.

According to Newsmax, citing its own sources, the target was 35-year-old Yair Netanyahu, with the plot allegedly planned in Florida, where he was living at the time. The outlet claims Israeli intelligence learned as early as last December that Iran was planning to kill Yair in Florida, and that Iranian agents had already been sent there to track his movements.

Yair Netanyahu returned to Israel urgently, without even packing his belongings, and has not left the country since.

A wave of threats following Khamenei's death

Since the United States killed Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, Iranian media have regularly published material threatening the U.S. president and his family. Khamenei was killed in an airstrike at the start of the war that Trump, together with Israel, launched against Iran in late February.
