Motorcyclist flees into the woods after police chase near Beroun, still on the run

On Tuesday evening in the Beroun region, a motorcyclist carrying a passenger refused to stop for a police patrol and instead sped off at high speed. According to police, this is not the first time the same rider has evaded officers in this way.

The chase ended in a field near the village of Loděnice, where the man ditched his motorcycle and fled on foot into the nearby woods. His passenger stayed behind and was detained by police on the spot.

Forensic investigators arrived at the scene to document all the circumstances of the incident. Every available patrol unit was called in to search for the fugitive driver, along with a helicopter equipped with thermal imaging, but officers were still unable to track him down.

Police say the search for the motorcyclist is still ongoing.
