A new Spanish airline, Fly2Galicia, has begun selling tickets for its first flights, even though the planes won't actually take off until late 2026. Among the inaugural routes is a direct link from Prague to the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela.
Scheduled flights will start on December 2, 2026, operating twice a week — on Wednesdays and Sundays — using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight from Prague is set to depart at 18:40, arriving in Santiago at 21:50, while the return flight leaves at 14:35 and lands in Prague at 17:50.
The round-trip fare for the period from January through summer 2027 is set at a fixed €100.50 (about 2,432 CZK). Whether cheaper promotional fares will appear later remains to be seen, but even this price for a direct flight to Galicia looks quite appealing.
It's worth keeping in mind that this is a brand-new carrier that has yet to operate a single flight. Tickets are already on sale, but there's a certain risk that the launch could be delayed or even cancelled — it will only become clear closer to the date of the first departure.
