Poll: STAN and ODS lose support, Motorists party would miss parliament again

According to an August survey by the Median agency, if elections to the Czech Chamber of Deputies were held right now, the STAN movement would lose 3 percentage points of support, while ODS would also poll lower than in the previous survey. The only party to gain ground was SPD, which added 1.5 percentage points.
Of the former Spolu coalition, only ODS would make it into parliament — TOP 09 would score 4%, and KDU-ČSL 3.5%, both below the electoral threshold. The Motorists movement would once again fall short of the Chamber of Deputies, with its support unchanged at 4.5%.
Who would win seats in parliament
Under this hypothetical August election, only five parties and movements would make it into the Chamber of Deputies. According to Median, ANO would win 93 seats, STAN 33, ODS 30, SPD 24, and the Pirates 20.
Even with this distribution of seats, ANO would still need at least one coalition partner to form a majority. Notably, the current ANO-SPD alliance would together secure 117 seats — a comfortable majority in the lower house of parliament.
The survey was conducted from August 1 to 31 among 1,021 respondents.
