On Saturday, at around half past four in the afternoon, a head-on collision between two cars occurred on Horoměřická Street in Prague 6. Three fire crews were sent to the scene and had to cut two injured people free from one of the damaged vehicles.
The injured were handed over to paramedics for treatment. According to police, only passengers in one of the two cars involved suffered injuries.
Firefighters also cleaned up fuel and other fluids that had leaked from the damaged cars. While the aftermath of the crash was being dealt with, traffic on the road was closed, forcing city buses to be diverted. Traffic resumed in alternating one-lane mode around half past five in the evening. Police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
