The Czech media-tech company Livesport, which stands behind the global sports results service Flashscore, grew by a fifth in 2025, with revenue reaching CZK 3.21 billion. Operating profit rose from CZK 841 million to CZK 1.12 billion, and net profit came to CZK 2.24 billion.
The main figure in the story is Livesport chief executive Pavel Krbec. In his words, 2025 turned out to be a difficult year: there was no European or World Championship — the tournaments thanks to which millions of new fans discover the company every two years. “We had to earn the growth ourselves — with product, content and speed,” Krbec stressed.
The profit structure is curious: net profit is again noticeably higher than operating profit. As company spokesman Petr Vavřík explained, it is formed mainly by dividends from subsidiaries.
The audience figures are impressive. In October 2025 Flashscore itself passed the mark of 125 million monthly users for the first time. Together with the Spanish project BeSoccer, which Livesport acquired at the end of 2024, the group’s websites and apps were visited by 155.9 million people.
During the year the company also continued to refine its own player rating system, Livesport Rating. Former goalkeeper Petr Čech helped with this work.
Livesport has been developing sports websites and apps since 2006. The majority owner of the company is the entrepreneur Martin Hájek.
