Charles Bridge Museum

Charles Bridge Museum

This museum is devoted to Prague's iconic landmark, Charles Bridge. Its permanent exhibition tells the story of the bridge's construction and the people who played a key role in building it. One of Europe's oldest bridges is shrouded in countless mysteries and legends, which visitors will get to uncover during their visit. The exhibition features a vast collection of photographs and sketches, replicas of 14th-century tools, scale models, and detailed descriptions of every stage of construction. Special attention is given to Charles Bridge's predecessor, Judith Bridge, which was destroyed by an ice flow in 1342 — visitors will also learn the story behind its name and origins.
