A 22-year-old Czech woman has died in the Austrian Alps after falling from a cliff while hiking with her father. The tragedy took place near Mount Grosser Bösenstein, according to the Austrian outlet Kleine Zeitung.

The father and daughter were walking along a mountain trail between the peaks of Grosser Bösenstein and Sonntagskarpitz in eastern Styria. At around 11:00, the young woman lost her footing and fell approximately 150 metres, sustaining fatal injuries.

Her body was later recovered by police helicopter. Police reported on the evening of the incident that a team of crisis psychologists provided support to her father, who witnessed the tragedy.
