A car caught fire on the D55 motorway near the town of Moravský Písek. Professional firefighters from the Uherské Hradiště unit responded to the scene, along with volunteer fire brigades from Nedakonice and Polešovice.

According to the fire service, the motorway was completely closed while the fire was being extinguished and rescue operations were underway. The cause of the fire and details about any injuries have not been disclosed.
