A new restaurant called Greenery 1060 is set to open in the centre of Prague on 1 September 2026. The venue will combine Central European fusion cuisine, live greenery, contemporary art elements and a wine bar tucked away in the basement.
The kitchen will focus on quality local, seasonal produce, a craft approach to ingredient preparation, and a generous use of vegetables — including fresh herbs grown right on the premises. In the evening, guests can continue their night at the wine bar downstairs, which will offer wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and late-night tapas. The menu is designed to satisfy meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike.
One of the restaurant's main highlights will be a series of short films by director David Ondříček, showcasing seven lesser-known corners of Prague. The films will be screened inside the restaurant and tied to signature cocktails, each inspired by a specific location featured on screen.
The restaurant's architectural design was developed by a team of architects and designers who created bespoke interior elements specifically for Greenery 1060. A living tree will serve as the centrepiece of the space, with the entire interior built around natural materials and live plants. This concept runs throughout the main dining room, the garden terrace and the courtyard, extending all the way down to the basement wine bar.
