Ostrava police hunt man caught on camera masturbating in front of girls on trams

Police in Ostrava are searching for a man who has repeatedly exposed himself and masturbated on trams in the presence of a minor girl. According to police spokeswoman Eva Michalíková, the suspect was carrying a blue HEAD-brand backpack on each occasion.

Investigators say the man appears to target victims on tram lines No. 8 and No. 17, which run between Poruba–Vřesinská and Poruba (depot)–Main Railway Station, as well as Dubina–Poruba (depot) and Poruba–Vřesinská. The most recent incident took place on Wednesday, August 19.

Police appeal to the public for help

Detectives are investigating the case as disorderly conduct, but the suspect has not yet been identified. Police have released CCTV footage showing the man and are asking residents to come forward with any information that could help track him down.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the police hotline at 158 or contact their nearest police station.
