In round four of the Czech hockey Extraliga, Třinec thrashed Vítkovice 8:2 and remain the only club with a perfect points record after four rounds, while Vítkovice, by contrast, still have not picked up a single point. In the other matches, Pardubice and Sparta both won comfortably, while Plzeň only salvaged the game in overtime.

Třinec Give Vítkovice No Chance

The visitors went ahead as early as the seventh minute through Abdul, but the hosts responded instantly: within five minutes Daňo, Pyrochta and Voženílek had all scored, and the outcome was effectively settled. Třinec added five more goals before the final whistle, while Vítkovice managed just one reply — the final score read 8:2.

Pardubice and Sparta Leave No Room for Doubt

Defending champions Pardubice beat Mladá Boleslav 4:1: Jáchym Kondelík opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and Matěj Stránský added to it in the second period. The hosts, through Pavol Skalický, pulled the gap back to a single goal, but the joy lasted barely forty seconds — Kondelík restored the two-goal cushion, and Jiří Smejkal sealed it with three seconds left on the clock.

A similar script played out in Litvínov, where Sparta won 4:1. Michal Řepík opened the scoring in the 12th minute, Jakub Krejčík then struck, and Řepík notched a brace of his own just before the end of the second period. Even a three-goal cushion did not faze the home side — Jiří Sekáč pulled one back, and Ondřej Kaše set the final 1:4 scoreline in the closing stages.

Kometa Snatch the Win in Olomouc

Brno's Kometa beat Olomouc 4:2 in a match that changed hands several times: after a goal from Robert Leino and a second from Kristián Pospíšil, the hosts hit back through Jakub Navrátil, only for the visitors to restore their two-goal lead in under a minute through Arttu Ilomäki. Leino put the result beyond doubt for the visitors, while the hosts only managed to soften the final margin through Daniel Herčík.

Karlovy Vary Rout Budějovice, Plzeň Escape in Overtime

Karlovy Vary delighted their fans with a 5:1 win over České Budějovice — the tone was set in the very first period, where Mamčics, Jones and Tomek all found the net. The visitors' only goal came from Štěpán Hoch, while Nicholas Jones and Jiří Černoch rounded off the home side's scoring.

Plzeň scored three goals in a single period too — but only in the second, whereas Kladno managed the same feat in the third. Kelly Klíma's goal at 59 minutes and 39 seconds sent the game to overtime, and the visitors still snatched an extra point: in the second minute of overtime, Teplý's second goal of the match won it for Plzeň — a final 3:3.
