Massive Russian drone attack on Kyiv: seven people killed

Kyiv came under a massive Russian drone attack on the afternoon of Friday, September 25, the Ukrainian outlet Ukrainska Pravda reports. Among the targets hit was the building of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine, and at least one child is among the dead.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram that Friday's enemy attacks left 43 people injured and five dead. He later reported that the death toll had risen to seven, with the number of injured reaching 46.

Most of the casualties are linked to a single drone that slammed into a five-storey office building. At the site of that strike, four people were killed and at least seven were injured. Several cars caught fire in a parking lot next to the building after the drone crashed, but the fire has since been extinguished.
