School Holidays and Key Dates for the 2026/2027 Academic Year in Czechia

The new school year in Czech nurseries, primary schools and gymnasiums will run from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027, following the standard schedule, the Czech Ministry of Education has announced. Pupils can look forward to six holiday periods throughout the year, and individual schools are also entitled to declare up to five additional headteacher's days off at their own discretion.
